It seems everyone uses a smartphone these days. OK, I do know of a few exceptions. 🙂 I thought I’d list a couple apps that come in very handy for home owners or shoppers.
Disclaimer – 1st, I’m an Android user, however my iphone friends say if Android has the app than iphone has it too. 2nd, I’m not a phone, I’m a REALTOR, so these are just my opinions.
ColorSnap by Sherwin Williams – a new app that lets you photo a color and get matches to it along with coordinating colors, etc. I don’t know if it works good enough to perfectly match a wall so you can buy touch up paint but I do know my arm is Trusty Tan SW 6087!
Tiny Flashlight + LED by Nikolay Ananiev – There are a lot of flashlight apps out there (I think I’ve tried them all) but this 1 seems to be the best.
YP Local Search & Gas Prices by Yellowpages – The paper yellow pages are a hassle. The app is easy!
8,500+ Drink Recipes by Webworks – For the wannabe bartender in us.
CamScanner Phone PDF Creator by Intsig Information Co – Snap a pic of a document and turn it into a pdf for easy e-mailing.
DISH Remote Access by DISH Network – If you have Dish this is great for watching TV or your DVR from anywhere on your smartphone. I think I had to get a slingblade (or something) to plug into my DVR.
iTriage Health by iTriage – For the Doctor wannabe in us.
Laser Level by Black Dot Mobile – This will help you hang pictures straight + more.
Spirit Level Pro Free by Mobikats – This is another level app. This one will help you tell if your table is level + more.
The Weather Channel by TWC – Well this one is self explanatory.
Univerasal Password Manager by Adrian Software – Keep track of passwords, SSN’s, Passports #’s, Credit card #s, etc…
REALTOR.com by Move – Find homes for sale + much more.
Google Drive by Google – Get 5mb of cloud hard drive. Access you files and photos from anywhere (phone or computer).
Of course there are a lot more that I “couldn’t live without” like Pandora, Facebook, Google Maps, Tango, You Tube, Shush, Photoshop Express, and Yelp for examples but I hope this helps someone. If you have any questions just let me know.
